Starts 20 January - March 2026. Optional Showcase March 22nd Location: Clean Break 2 Patshull Road (5 weeks) + Online (4 weeks) Price: £185 The Solo Lab is a supportive space for dancers ready to choreograph their solos. Over 9 weeks, you'll take an idea and shape it into a full, expressive piece that reflects YOU. This course will guide you from concept to completion with structure, sisterhood, and support. This course is for those who want to create, not to learn specific dance style technique. You’ll be expected to start developing your solo by week 5. We’ll help you get there, but your voice leads the way. This is your space to explore your unique voice as a performer. What’s Included: 5 in-person group sessions (20 Jan - 17 Feb) held weekly at Clean Break Studio, these studio-based sessions focus on: - Choreographic tools & improvisation techniques - Storytelling through movement - Musicality & emotional expression - Persona building: naming & embodying your onstage character - Costuming, makeup, props and styling choices to elevate your piece 4 private 1:1 solo ONLINE coaching sessions (from 18 Feb Until 13 March): You'll receive a booking link to schedule your coaching sessions at times that work for you. These are tailored sessions to give feedback, troubleshoot ideas and polish your piece. Prefer in-person? You can upgrade any 1:1 to an in-studio session for £35/hour, which covers studio hire and your coach's time. Optional performance opportunity: At the end of the course, you'll be invited to perform your solo at the March 2026 BAW Spring Showcase in Central London, but there’s no pressure. This piece is yours to use how you choose: a public debut, a private party, a video project, or a personal milestone.
