The Art of Tease – A Burlesque Confidence Course Inspired by the glamour of Dita Von Teese with an optional live performance in December in Central London. Do you want to feel sexy, strong, and completely at home in your body, without judgment or pressure? This all-levels course is for every woman who’s ever dreamed of dancing in heels, expressing her sensuality, and being unapologetically herself. Over 10 weeks, you’ll build a powerful, polished burlesque routine inspired by the legendary Dita Von Teese, learning the techniques, tease, and confidence behind her iconic style. What You’ll Learn: - Burlesque foundations & body confidence - Floorwork, hair whips, and glove reveals - Musicality, sensual movement & prop work - Character development & performance presence Optional group performance at our December showcase! No experience needed. Example Class Structure Warm-Up: Dynamic stretching, flexibility & body awareness Technique: Foundations of strut, posture, and floorwork Choreography: A slow, sensual routine that builds each week Cool Down: Relax, reconnect, and reflect What to Bring - Heels (optional) - Comfortable clothing that makes you feel fabulous - A bottle of water - Your full, unapologetic self *Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get changed and settled. All bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels welcome. Heels optional. Attitude encouraged.
