Code of Conduct & Class Policies

1. Inclusivity, Behaviour & Safety Policy

BAW Dance is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all participants.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour in our classes or events. This includes (but is not limited to) discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, body type, age, religion, or ability.

Anyone found to be violating these principles will be prohibited from attending future BAW Dance classes, workshops, or events, without a refund.

We also uphold a strong commitment to anonymity and confidentiality. If something happens during class that makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected, please speak to us directly. We will always step in to protect your safety and well-being, and will handle the situation confidentially, with care and urgency.

At BAW Dance, everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe.

2. Tardiness and Late Entry

We understand things happen, but to maintain a safe and focused space for all, latecomers may not be permitted to join if arriving more than 10-15 minutes after class has started or if they have missed the warm up.

Please arrive on time to honour your body, your instructor, and your fellow dancers.

3. Refunds, Cancellations and Class Credits

All class and course bookings are non-refundable, except in the case of class cancellation by BAW Dance. You may also get a full refund if you cancel a class 24 hours in advance of the start of the class, or we may be able to offer credit for a future session, subject to availability and discretion.

No-shows or same-day cancellations are not eligible for credits or transfers.
