Terms and Conditions
At BAW Dance, we aim to create a supportive and empowering experience for everyone attending our classes and events. These Terms & Conditions help outline the expectations, responsibilities and policies connected to participation in our activities.
1. General
By booking or attending any BAW Dance class, course, workshop, rehearsal, performance or event, participants agree to abide by BAW Dance’s Policies & Community Guidelines, Terms & Conditions and any additional event-specific policies where applicable.
BAW Dance reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be paid in full in order to secure a space in class, workshops, courses or events unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices, packages, memberships and concession structures may occasionally change at the discretion of BAW Dance.
Class packs, memberships or promotional offers may be subject to expiry dates or usage limitations where stated at the time of purchase.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
All bookings are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Individual class cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be eligible for class credit or transfer subject to availability and discretion.
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits or transfers.
If BAW Dance cancels a class, workshop or event, participants will be offered either an alternative session, class credit or refund where appropriate.
4. Participation & Conduct
Participants attend all classes, workshops and events at their own discretion and responsibility level.
BAW Dance expects all attendees to contribute to a respectful, inclusive and supportive environment. Disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from activities or refusal of future participation without refund.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in dance and movement activities and should inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions or accessibility requirements where relevant.
5. Memberships, Packages & Concessions
Memberships, class packages and concessions are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by BAW Dance.
Community scholarships, concession rates and discounted spaces are offered at the discretion of BAW Dance and may be limited based on availability and capacity.
BAW Dance reserves the right to withdraw discounts, memberships or supported spaces where terms are abused or false information is knowingly provided.
6. Workshops, Events & Performances
BAW Dance reserves the right to make reasonable changes to instructors, schedules, venues, event lineups or class content where necessary.
Participants attending performances, rehearsals or showcase projects may be subject to additional expectations regarding attendance, communication, costume preparation or rehearsal commitment.
7. Photography, Video & Creative Content
Photography and video content may occasionally be captured during classes, workshops, performances or events for promotional, archival or community purposes.
BAW Dance branding, choreography, class concepts and creative materials remain the intellectual property of BAW Dance and may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAW Dance shall not be held responsible for injuries, accidents, personal loss, damage to belongings or other incidents occurring during participation in classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances or events, except where caused by proven negligence.

10. Community Access Terms and Eligibility
Community Access is available only while you are receiving Universal Credit or Jobseeker’s Allowance, or are enrolled in full-time education.
You must remain eligible on every date that you attend a BAW Dance class using the reduced-price plan. Purchasing the plan while eligible does not extend the reduced rate beyond the end of your Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance or full-time student status.
You must provide valid evidence when joining, provide updated evidence every four weeks, tell BAW Dance immediately if your eligibility ends or your circumstances change, and provide additional evidence if reasonably requested.
If your eligibility ends during your four-week plan, your Community Access discount ends on the same date. You cannot use Community Access credits for classes taking place after that date.
Any unused credits will be placed on hold, and you may choose one of the following:
• Receive a refund equal to the amount you originally paid for each unused credit; or
• Apply the original monetary value of the unused credits towards classes or a plan at the standard rate and pay any remaining difference.
Unused Community Access credits do not transfer into the same number of standard-rate classes. Their monetary value is transferred instead.
An unused credit means a credit that has not been redeemed, attended or lost under BAW Dance’s cancellation and no-show policy.
Community Access cannot be renewed or restarted without current evidence and cannot be combined with another concession, introductory offer or promotional discount.
